Talks You Can Put to Use on Monday Morning
For three decades I've trained leaders, teams, and whole organizations, from the World Bank and NASA to family-owned construction firms. I'm also an entrepreneur who has built or restored a dozen homes, so I speak the language of owners, schedules, and margins. My talks are interactive, practical, and designed so people leave with one thing they'll actually do differently.
How I Earn Stage Time
- Three decades as a trainer and facilitator. Over a thousand professionals across corporate, government, healthcare, multilateral, and nonprofit settings.
- An entrepreneur who builds. Co-founder of Crozet Restorations, which has designed, built, or restored a dozen homes in Crozet, Charlottesville, and Washington, DC. See the projects →
- Inside construction, not just near it. I design and deliver leadership seminars for a national subsurface construction company's executive and administrative teams.
- Experiential by design. Certified Psychodramatist and ICF PCC coach. Audiences practice, not just listen.
What Audiences Say
This session challenged us, more than a typical presentation, to go beyond our comfort zones.
Elaine Turville, Senior Manager, Accenture
She taught from "within," as opposed to a lot of speakers who speak as if the focus is other people.
Marlene Reed, workshop participant
The speaker was extremely sensitive and well-modulated in her delivery. Her breadth of knowledge was astounding. I was moved.
J. Yann Sheppard, RN
I loved Atieno's awareness and sensitivity to everyone's process and the boldness inspired in all by the process.
Willroy Grant, Professor of Latin American Studies
This was the first workshop I've been to that was actually worth going to! Definitely the best workshop I've ever attended.
